About Me!

Many of you reading this will already know me. That’s probably how you found my new website. Maybe you’ve worked with me, or maybe you saw my recent adverts.

If you don’t know me already – hello! I’m Suzanne Preston, and after 14 years as a partner in practices in Staffordshire and Cheshire, I’ve taken the plunge and set up my own accountancy practice based in Nantwich.

I’d like to introduce you to Brightshire.

Why Brightshire?

Setting up my own rural accountancy practice is something I’ve always wanted to do – for as long as I can remember.

I’ve worked in the rural sector for over 15 years, and I absolutely love it. But I know that I can deliver so much more to the businesses operating there.

So that’s what I’m doing with Brightshire. I’m making sure clients get the best results from their financial planning. Supporting every part of their business. Helping them succeed. A bright, positive future.

Most importantly, I want to change the way farmers and rural business owners see accountants.

Why Work With Me?

Because I’m not your typical accountant.

When I first became a partner, clients used to say it was like coming to see the dentist. You had to do it, but it’s never something you enjoyed or really wanted to do.

I’m changing that perception. Brightshire is changing it. Clients don’t wait for that dreaded meeting with me – knowing it has to come but hoping to avoid it all costs.

They look forward to it. It’s enjoyable. It’s useful. It fires them up.

Our meetings aren’t about boring accountancy talk and important returns. We take care of that for you, because we’re the experts. Why worry about that?

Our meetings are focused on your business. To discuss your challenges and opportunities. To plan for the future. To share my advice and insight, and help make sure you’re on the right path.

The Brightshire Difference

Accountancy doesn’t have to be boring. It’s not all about accounts and compliance. No-one wants to know how much tax they have to pay. Although they’re a necessity, I don’t want to just crunch numbers, prepare accounts and file tax returns. And you don’t want that from me.

You might not like numbers and spreadsheets, but I’m sure you like success! And that’s what we help you do. We help you succeed. We help your rural business go for strength to strength – now and in many years’ time.

We become a trusted part of your business.

We focus on the exciting and challenging areas of your farm or rural business, the details that can make a big difference. We’ll help you secure your present and plan for the future, so you can keep enjoying what you love.

Take a look at the different ways we can help you – but for starters, they include:

  • Helping you save money
  • Reducing tax or costs
  • Planning for the future
  • And most importantly, helping you to enjoy what you do

Brightshire Is Not Your Typical Accountancy Practice.

We’re vibrant and passionate. We’re full of energy and empathy. And we’re here to help you as a key, trusted member of your team. An advisor. A guide.

That’s why we’re different. We’re about so much more than numbers and accounts.
